Case drain test
Test it before you replace it
Before you spend money on a new final drive, make sure the final drive is the problem. A case drain test checks the travel motor for internal leakage and shows whether it's worn out. Watch how it's done, and if your drive fails the test, call us and we'll find the right replacement.
This video is general information only. Always follow your machine's owner's manual and service manual for the correct test procedure, hose and fitting selection, pressure ratings and specs. Stalling the travel motor puts the machine under heavy load, so the test should only be done by a qualified person, with the machine secured and everyone clear. Interior Undercarriage isn't responsible for any damage or injury from doing this test.
